The Artist Behind Tomoshibi
The artist behind Tomoshibi is Yamato (夜舞兎).
The artist name is written with three Japanese characters.
夜 — Night
Many of my works are created during the quiet hours of the night, when ideas flow freely and the mind becomes calm.
舞 — Dance
To me, calligraphy is more than writing. Every brushstroke carries rhythm, movement, and emotion—like a quiet dance across the paper.
兎 — Rabbit
The rabbit was chosen as a personal symbol that reflects my personality—representing a deeply sensitive nature, quiet strength, and the ability to see the essence of things.
