Hands-on Japanese calligraphy experience

In this plan, you can experience Japanese calligraphy Shodo in a small Japanese-style house. It has a relaxing effect like meditation and yoga. Our classroom is in Nagoya located between Tokyo and Kyoto, so please have a relaxing time in the middle of your travel. Our classroom is a six-minute walk from our nearest station. Single guests are welcome! 

First, I explain about calligraphy supplies. And then you choose a kanji sample you like and practice it with a brush. After that, you write the kanji on Japanese square drawing paper Shikishi as a clean copy. You can take it and a simple case for it home with a shopper bag with our logo and display it on a wall in your house. Plus, you can enjoy my gallery and buying goods. 

We offer authentic, not superficial cultural experiences. You can enjoy rubbing the ink stick on the ink stone to make the ink. The aroma and sounds make you relax. Plenty of time to practice, so you can face yourself and focus on that.
